Good work! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was just about to give up when I ran across this post. Thank you! Tried every which way except for this to install drivers for an older Canon 32bit scanner, an LIDE Had no luck. In my case, there is only a Lide60 listed under canon, no other scanner model hence the driver should be installed during above step 1 and 2. Follow the step in this web site, you will find LiD60E listed in the canon windows in step8. It will run but nothing happen, no pop up windows etc. Download LiDE60 win7 setup file from canon website. I am using win10 pro version with LiDE50 and it works. It recognized all scanner features and allows me to continue scan to documents after macOS update.

Much less expensive than buying a new scanner, easy to use and great quality. Vuescan Professional saved me from having to buy a new scanner when Mac Catalina no longer supported my current scanner. It works on my Macbook with Catalina OS!!!! Kathy Lower. Wow, a purchase made in, works on a PC with an operating system that doesn't exist in And that for a very small amount of money.

I got a new Epson scanner - old one doesn't have Win10 drivers. Got new computers with new operating systems, forgot about VueScan. I used it a lot, more functions than the standard driver. Love it! Thank You Hamrick!!! Marc Bodewes. I purchased the Pro version and it is worth every penny of the reasonable price.

My scanner now works so much better than it did originally that I am incredulous. It is so efficient and easy to use that I'm looking forward to scanning several thousand slides that have been stored away and unusable. I am absolutely in love with this software! Thanks to VueScan, it back online and working better than ever. It has given me a lot of pleasure over the years and helped produce some high quality scans of vintage family photography.

It really is an excellent product well maintained and exceptional value for money. Hamrick Software - I have been using VueScan for 10 years on several different computers using 3 scanner models. My operation system is Windows I can recommend VueScan without hesitation. I'm using a Brother All-in scanner which I bought 3 years ago and whilst its scanning software is not bad it's much slower and has way less options than VueScan. Scanning was a breeze and saved me a lot of time.
